Privacy Policy

Sprite Locker("we", "us") is a fan-made tool for tracking a personal collection of in-game sprites and comparing it with friends. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

We only collect what the app needs to work:

• Account & sign-in. We use Supabase Auth. Depending on how you sign in, we receive:
  • Email link / code: your email address.
  • Google: your name, email address, and profile picture, as provided by Google.
  • Epic Games: your Epic account ID and Epic display name. Epic does not share your email with us.
• Profile. A display name and an automatically generated friend code.
• Your collection. Which sprites you mark as collected, and when.
• Social features. Groups you create or join (group names, invite codes, membership) and friend connections (friend requests and accepted friendships).
• Technical data. Standard server logs and the cookies required to keep you signed in, handled by our hosting and authentication providers.

How we use your information

• Authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• Show and update your sprite collection.
• Power groups, friends, and progress leaderboards.
• Send essential account messages (such as sign-in links).
• Maintain security and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

How your information is shared

With other users

Your display name, friend code, and collection progress are visible to people you accept as friends and to members of groups you join. Your email address is never shown to other users.

With service providers

We rely on a small number of processors to run the app. They handle data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and realtime.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.
• Epic Games — only if you choose Epic sign-in.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, collection, group memberships, and friend connections are deleted along with it.

Your rights & choices

• Access & correction:view and edit your display name and profile in the app's Settings.
• Deletion: you can delete your account, which removes your associated data. If you need help, contact us.
• Sign-in choices: you control which sign-in methods you link to your account.

Security

Data is protected with row-level security so that users can only access the records they are permitted to see. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Sprite Locker is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
